Plot
On the heels of Larry's first two tumultuous weeks of college, Leena and Xiveer are once again visited by the uptight and selfish Brackneed Vendyor, who comes to taunt them at their store, Severis General Goods. However, Brackneed is the least of their worries, as, somehow, a rodent invades their shop. Desperate to rid of the creature, the duo devise a bizarre plan to kick the furry creature out once and for all.
Meanwhile, Reena MacTavish, their only employee, deals with another form of pressure, this time with one of their dedicated customers.

Notes
This story is the second in the initial trilogy of stories to get TST off and running. Mouse introduces the enigmatic and overbearing Brackneed Vendyor, the Severis' arch-rivals, both in society and in business. Mila and Reena are introduced here as well, along with the occasional characters Barnaby and Veera.
Another semi-primary character, Mrs. Aptow, is introduced here for the first time.
