Plot
Due to the stress of the first two weeks of college, Larry develops a form of laryngitis that affects bipedal dragons, although he is not one himself. This causes problems when he discovers Tarla came back, and a miscommunication results in some problems for Leena.

Notes

This story introduces Janessa Vendyor, a highly-recurring secondary character that is Brackneed's niece and fellow college student, although her abrasive attitude causes friction often between whoever she interacts with, Larry Severis in particular.
