Walter Hutter is a character from The Severis Tales.
Biography
Like his wife, Gerta, Walter is of Garundish descent. A full bipedal with light-grey skin and black wings, Walter has lived in Barlett his entire life. He married Gerta several decades ago when he met her in her home town of Westbrook.
For the last fifteen years, Walter has been the master brewer's assistant at Barlett Distillery, where various local whiskeys are made. With extensive experience in the whiskey-making process and running operations at the distillery, he is soon to take over as master distiller. His income alone allows Gerta to stay at home and do as she pleases, as well as giving his children, Karl and Mira, a bright, secure future.
Physical Description
Walter's strength is in his arms, coming from decades of loading, unloading, and rolling barrels about. As part of his brown outfit and white apron, he ties his tail upward to avoid accidental trips about the distillery and at home. As thus, some poeople see him as a bipedal with no tail. He has the ability to take flight, if need be, but rarely will he demonstrate it.
Peronality and Habits
On the professional and well-mannered side (in front of his family, and his wife in particular), Walter is a kind and sometimes shouty type of man, especially when he needs everyone's attention. In private, Walter sometimes becomes quite sad or desparate to join others in leisurely activities, so as he can stay outside the house as long as possible.
