Berrick Craftberg is a character from The Severis Tales.
Biography
Berrick is Bert's father. He moved in with the Craftbergs upon settling on Pine Street, having no family left to look after him. Much like his son, Berrick was a construction worker whose claim to fame was being involved in some of the older buildings in Barlett.
At eighty-four years of age, Berrick is still living the life and is full of energy. He shares deep concern with the otheres concerning his granddaughter, Shanna, generally staying out of her way when she is in one of her angry moods.
Physical Description
Berrick often goes for walks in a country suit and tie and wears a flatcap to disguise his white receding hair. He likes to annoy patronizing passersby by walking with a limp and a cane, although he has no need of one.
Peronality and Habits
Although wise in the world and something of a warm grandfatherly type, Berrick is sometimes canktanerous and cranky, and will let people know under no uncertain terms what his mood is that day.
Berrick's favourite place is the pub or the coffee shops where his other elderly friends gather around to play games like backgammon and dominos.
