Mia is half-Jiparan daughter of Sara and Bertie Chester. She is of half-Jiparan, half-Britannish descent. Mia, who looks Jiparan (Asian-like) but speaks with a strong hint of her father's West Country accent, sometimes makes her a target for bullies or racism, both of which she pays no attention to.

As a way of combatting the burdens of society placed upon her, Mia invested her time between school in martial arts lessons that came in handy on more than one occasion. As well, she has taken up music and has learned to play piano as well as guitar.

Mia is of average height with long, black hair, which she often puts into a bun. Although her appearace suggests one of ordinary strength, she can fight if provoked.
